Hello, my name is Olivia Darling. I’m a tattoo artist located in San Diego, California. Originally I’m from England, but over years of traveling I landed in San Diego and haven’t looked back.

I specialize in predominantly black and grey tattooing, with my own stylistic twist. I started tattooing in England 10 years ago then continued to learn about tattooing in Australia and Canada. You can see the influence of traditional tattooing, Japanese tattooing, dot work, illustration and portraiture in my work.

My favorite things to tattoo are anything nature based, flowers, animals like snakes and big cats etc, deities (particularly Hindu, Buddhist and tiebetan), goddess, mermaids, lady heads, mythological figures/creatures and portraits. I really enjoy cover up tattoos also, being able to transform the skin is an amazing process.

I enjoy both large scale (sleeves, legs and back pieces) and smaller ‘one shot’ pieces. I just love tattooing, no matter the project!

When I’m not tattooing or working on creative projects, I’m enjoying nature, working out, hanging out with my partner and our sweet dogs. I often travel and go on remote trips to climb and hike, I love an adventure!
